Yesterday, Solid Rock Radio lost not only our first-ever donor, but also a long-time supporter and beloved family member—my grandmother. From the very beginning in 2006, she believed in our vision, even though the music we played wasn’t exactly her style. It’s why we adopted our original slogan: “This isn’t your grandma’s Christian music.” If we ever have the opportunity to open our own business space, we’ll name it the Marilyn Golden Studio in her honor. Her prayers and unwavering support have been a cornerstone of our journey, and without her, we might not still be here today.
